The members and friends of Entraide, the French Association for Solidarity, enjoyed a beautiful evening at its annual gala. The event took place on Thursday, June 9, at the Hellenic Riding Club, under the auspices of the French Embassy in Greece and in the presence of the French Ambassador Mr. Patrick Maisonnave. Newrest, which consistently aims to support socially vulnerable groups, was the Bronze Sponsor of the event, the income of which will be dedicated to the association’s charity purposes.
The French Association for Solidarity, under the honorary presidency of the Ambassador of France to Greece, and in close cooperation with the Consular Authorities and the Representatives in the Parliament of the French Abroad, supports vulnerable groups of French citizens in need: the elderly, the disabled and the sick, people alone or single-parent families and orphans.
In their speeches, both Ambassador Patrick Maisonnave and the President of Entraide Mr. Konstantinos Karagounis, underlined the importance of supporting the socially and economically vulnerable groups and expressed their satisfaction for the funding of the actions of the Association by the French and several Greek companies.
