Norse Atlantic Airways is a well-known low-cost airline based in Oslo, Norway. The airline primarily uses the Boeing 787 Dreamliner for its flights. One of its new seasonal routes is the connection between Athens and New York (JFK), with up to five weekly flights during the summer season, specifically from May 30, 2024, to October 26, 2024.
The recent announcement of this new route highlights the airline’s strategic positioning to meet the growing demand among American travelers seeking a direct, affordable travel option to Greece. The success of this new route seems promising, given Norse Atlantic Airways’ reputation for providing high-level services aimed at offering an exceptional travel experience.
Norse Atlantic Airways collaborated with Newrest Hellas to create the menu served on board to passengers. Newrest Hellas curated the meals for both Premium and Economy Class, offering a choice between a hot dinner or hot breakfast (depending on the departure time) as the first service, followed by a cold snack for Premium Class and a hot snack for Economy Class as the second service. It’s important to note that while Economy Class passengers can pre-order meals for their flight, Premium Class passengers receive both services.
