Juneyao Air, a leading private-owned carrier, commenced on April 2nd its new route from its Shanghai hub to Athens with its flagship Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
The airline, a member of the Star Alliance and provider of both domestic and international services, will operate the route three times per week, making it the only Chinese carrier to fly directly on this Shanghai-Athens route.
Athens is Juneyao’s third European destination, after Helsinki and Milan, and is part of its broader strategy to offer increased global connectivity from China.
To enhance passengers’ in-flight experience, Juneyao Air has partnered with Newrest Hellas, to create an exquisite Breakfast and Hot Meals Menu. Inspired by both Western and Chinese culinary traditions, this fusion of tastes reflects Juneyao Air’s commitment to providing a unique gastronomic experience to its travellers in both Business and Economy Class.
With a modern fleet of 95 aircraft, Juneyao Air operates to over 200 destinations across Asia and Europe. The addition of this new route further expands the airline’s international network and reinforces its commitment to providing seamless travel experiences to its passengers.
