On Sunday, September 29, Newrest Hellas proudly participated in the 16th symbolic race against breast cancer, an event organized by the Greek Association of Women with Breast Cancer, “Alma Zois.” With thousands of participants—survivors, runners, walkers, and ‘remote supporters’—the event served as a powerful message of solidarity and hope.
The participation of Newrest Hellas reflects the company’s commitment to promoting health and well-being while also enhancing community support and collective action. The team was deeply inspired by the unity and hope that permeated the atmosphere of the event, honoring the survivors as symbols of resilience and strength. Their stories demonstrate that, with early prevention combined with a supportive environment, addressing breast cancer is possible.
In Newrest we firmly believe that together, everyone is stronger. Solidarity is at the heart of initiatives like the fight against breast cancer, where the goal is not only to raise awareness but also to inspire collective action and empower communities.
Newrest Hellas expresses its deep gratitude to all participants—whether they ran, walked, or supported from afar—and encourages everyone to continue spreading the message about the importance of early prevention. Regular check-ups and early detection remain the most powerful tools in the fight against breast cancer.
